One Little Craft Tag Challenge #149 and Craft Warehouse Challenge

On a manilla tag, adhere vintage map text to the tag using the Book Page Text Texture.  Dash white acrylic paint to give it some depth.  Place three brads in upper right hand corner.  Adhere collage pieces.  Fillout the mailing sticker.  Wrap embossing floss around the tag.

One Little Craft Tag Challenge #86

Crumple up a page from a dictionary and flatten out.  Adhere to a manila tag.  Let dry. Create the background using the watercolor smooshing technique using watercolor crayons.  Let dry.  Stamp image and sentiment on white tissue paper using Archival Ink Jet Black.  Adhere to tag using gel medium.  Let dry.  Adhere washi tape to the tag. 

Book Page Text Texture Tutorial

This technique adds interest both visually and textually.  

Ingredients

Vintage book text - Here I used a vintage map

Substrate - I used a shipping tag

Adhesive - I like gel medium

Scissors - Non stick scissors work the best.   

Spray bottle of water

Steps
1. Cut a piece of vintage text larger than the substrate.

2. Crumple up the paper in a ball then flatten it out and do it again.  If the paper is a heavy weight spray with water and let it set for a few moments then crumple.

3.  Cover the substrate with adhesive.  Apply the book text to the substrate and smooth down as much as you would like.  

Here is a close up the texture created.  

4. Let dry.

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #192

Adhere braile text paper to a tag and let dry.  Paint with acrylic paint and let dry.  Stencil black dots(Buttercream) on tag.  Let dry.  Stamp images(Rubber Moon Stamps) on white tissue paper with Archival Ink Jet Black and adhere to tag.  Let dry.  Adhere sequins to tag with dimensional magic.  Let dry.
