One Little Craft Tag Challenge #144A and That's Crafty

Adhere several types of washi tape to the tag.  Create an embellishment by folding one strip of tape on to itself.  Stamp image (Dylusions) on white cardstock with Archival Ink Jet Black and cut out.  Color the white areas of the stamp with a black alcohol marker.  Adhere to the tag.

One Little Craft Tag Challenge #40

On a watercolor tag, color a tag with watercolor crayons and activate with water.  Let dry.  Stamp images with Archival Ink Jet Black. Female image is from Dina Wakley and the Quote stamp is from Paper Artsy.  Edge the tag with red ink.  Embellish with decorative masking tape creating a skirted texture.  

Masking Tape Ruffle Embellishment

Though I called this technique Masking Tape Ruffle Embellishment you can used any type of tape to create a ruffle.

Ingredients

Substrate - I used a shipping tape

Tape - In this tutorial I used masking tape and Scotch decorative tape but you can use duct tape or washi tape or any tape you like

Colorant - I used acrylic paint on the masking tape but on the decorative tape I left the color it was.  

1.  Fold tape connecting tape to its self and then to the substrate creating ruffles.

2.  Paint the tape.

On a shipping tag apply torn pieces of masking tape to create texture.  On the bottom of the tag, create ruffles with masking tape.  Paint with two colors of buttercream acrylic paint and let dry.  Stamp image(Stampendous) on white tissue paper using Archival Ink Jet Black.  Color with Recollections Watercolor Crayons.  Adhere to the tag.  

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #213

On a shipping tag, apply two different patterns of Scotch Decorative Tape in a random pattern.  Dry brush gray Buttercream paint over tape and let dry.  Create an embellishment at the bottom of the tag uisng decorative tape.  Stamp image(Post Script Studio) on white tissue paper with Archival Ink Jet Black and adhere to tag.  Apply sticker to tag.

Here is a quick and easy embellishment trick with stuff I am sure you have in your stash.

Ingredients
Masking tape
Non stick sheet or wax paper
Stamps The yard stick is from Ma Vinci, The clock is from Non Sequitur and I do not know what company made the stencil letter stamps.
acrylic paint (I used black)

1. Place strips of masking tape side by side on a non stick sheet.
2. Stamp images using black acrylic paint.
3. Let dry.
4. Peel off the tape and place on page. The word "soul" was printed on tape that was over lapping so I peeled it off as one big "sticker."

The rest of the page

The background was purple acrylic paint brushed on a page. Once dry super sparkle lumieres paint was sponged over it. Then images of yard sticks, clocks and rulers were stamped using lumiere hi lite blue and black.

The main image was stamped on a recycled tag using black permanent ink. The image is from After Midnight Stamps
