One Little Craft Tag Challenge #173

Paint a chipboard tag with gesso and let dry. Paint the tag with yellow acrylic paint and let dry.  Using the end of a paint brush, dot burnt sienna and aqua acrylic paint on to the tag and then smear with a finger.  Let dry.  Stamp the image (Lost Coast Designs) on vintage text paper with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Tear out and adhere to the tag.  Outline the image with a Stabilo Marks All and blend with water.  Adhere washi tape and rhinestones on the tag.

Lost Coast Postcard

Cut mixed media paper to 3.5 inches by 5 inches.  Blend Broken China Distress Oxides on the paper and let dry.  Stencil stars (Dylusions) on the postcard with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxides and let dry.  Stamp the image (Lost Coast Designs) with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Cut out vintage text tiles and adhere them to boarder of the postcard.  Emphasis with a Stabilo Marks All Pencil and blend with water.  Let dry.  Stamp starburst (Judikins) with Faded Jeans Distress Oxides.

ICAD #17

Adhere decorative paper to an index card.  Edge the index card with Faded Jeans Distress Oxides.  Stamp word (Stampendous) with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Stamp on a tag with text stamp (Hampton Arts) with two colors of Distress Oxides and blend with a stencil brush.  Tear tag and adhere to index card.  Stamp the focal image on vintage text page with two colors of Distress Oxides and Archival Ink Jet Black.  Spray image after each application of Distress Oxides and dry. This is the Distress Bleeding Technique.  Tear around the image and adhere to the index card.

One Little Craft Tag Challenge #143

On a bristol tag create a background using the vintage paper collage technique.  Let dry.  With a paint brush, do an acrylic wash with Golden Glaze in Pink Coral and instant coffee.  Let dry.  Stain copy paper with instant coffee and let dry.  Stamp image (Lost Coast Design)  on the coffee stained copy paper with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Tear the edges.  Adhere to tag.  Create the fabric embellishement with canvas and embroidery floss.  Adhere to the tag.  

This tag was created for the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity Challenge for May.  The theme was the use of stitching.
