ICAD #13

On an index card stamp with water and then sprinkle with two colors of Ken Oliver Color Bursts.  Dry with a heat gun.  Stamp with embossing ink the flower outline and emboss with white embossing powder.  Apply Tim Holtz Chat Stickers.

This ICAD was also entered into the Mixed Media World Challenge for June.

ICAD #11

On an index card stamp the circles and butterflies (both are from Fiskars) with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Draw over the circles with Distress Markers and with a waterbrush blend the color out using the Distress Bleeding Technique.  Color the edge with Wilted Violet Distress Markers and blend out with a waterbrush.  Dry with a hair dryer.

ICAD #10

Paint an index card mint green and let it dry.  Stamp the image (Prima Marketing) with Archival Ink Jet Black.  On a piece of text paper stamp out the word with alphabet stamps and Archival Ink Jet Black.  Adhere enamel dots to the ICAD.

ICAD #9

On an idex card stamp the heart (Invoke) with Archival Ink Jet Black and mask off.  Stamp the bird image (Hampton Arts) several times with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Color the image and card with watercolor  crayons and blend with water.  Let dry.  Emphasis images with white china marker.  Adhere stickers (Tim Holtz) to the ICAD.

ICAD #8

On an index card, stamp flowers and leaves (Avery Elle) using the swipe stamp technique with Distress Ink.  Colors used on the flowers were worn lipstick, tumbled glass and shaded lilac.  Colors used on the leaves were mowed lawn and twisted citron.  Over stamp the dots (Avery Elle) in Wilted Violet Distress Ink. Stamp quote (Tim Holtz) with Archival Ink Jet Black.    Tear washi tape and adhere to the edges of the ICAD.

ICAD #7

On an index card stamp elephant (Tim Holtz) with Archival Ink Jet Black and mask off.  Stamp the African Map (Toybox)  twice with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Color the images and background with distress ink and a waterbrush.  Stamp the dots stamp (Tim Holtz) with distress ink in blueprint sketch and hickory smoke.

ICAD #6

Cut a piece of decorative paper the size of the index card, crinkle it up and flatten several times until it is wrinkled.  Scrape gesso over the paper in the Dry Brush Gesso Technique and let dry.  Spray with pearlized water and let dry.  Stamp the face (Stampington) with Archival Ink Jet Black and enhance features with watercolor markters.  Create woven embellishment with washi tape on the paper.  Stamp words (Stampendous) with Archival Ink Jet Black and embellish with pearls.
