One Little Craft Tag Challenge #93

On a chipboard tag, adhere paper towel that was used to color up green ink.  Create texture in the paper towel while gel medium is wet.  Let dry.  Die cut cherry blossom from kraft paper.  I used the positive section of the die in another tag.  Layer the kraft paper over decorative paper.  Stamp the quote (Dylusions Stamp) on orange decorative paper, cut apart and adhere to the kraft paper.  Tear two strips of decorative paper and adhere to the top and bottom of the kraft piece.  Adhere the completed kraft piece to the paper towel covered tag.  Using Art C Pen and Viva Pearl Pen and create trio dots.  Let dry.

Adhere color book page to shipping tag, trim to size and allow to dry.  Stamp image (Dylusions) with archival ink in Jet Black on drawing paper.  Cut out and adhere to tag.  Apply sticker (Recollections.)

Apply white acrylic paint through a stencil (Tim Holtz) onto a manila tag.  Let dry.  Spray with color spray (Recollections) and let dry.  With black acrylic paint and a stencil (Dina Wakley) stencil the woman's image.  Let dry.  Paint wood veneer bird blue and speckle with white paint, let dry.  Adhere bird, washi tape and stickers to tag.

Paint white gesso on a manila tag and let dry.  Cut tissue paper into squares and apply with gel medium.  Let dry.  Out line the squares.  On white tissue paper, stamp dancer image with Jet Black Archival Ink and use gel medium to adhere it to the tag.  Let dry.  Apply sentiment sticker to tag then write quote with permanent marker.

Adhere string to a manila tag in a spiral pattern with glue and let dry.  Spread gel medium over the tag and overlay a piece of tissue paper.  Let dry.  Paint with black gesso and let dry.  Rub Viva Decore 3D Stamp Paint in violet over the string raised impression.  Apply the alphabet stickers.

On a manila tag, spray Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and a Dina Wakley stencil .  Let dry.  Stamp peacock image (Lost Coast Designs) with archival ink. Apply sticker letters and adhere sequins.

Apply napkin to a manilla tag with gel medium.  Let dry.  Stamp image (Lost Coast Designs) on tissue paper and with gel medium apply to tag.  Using rub ons to create lyrics and embellish with small pearls.

On a manila tag, stencil compass (Dina Wakley) with black acrylic ink and spray with yellow spray (Recollections) and let dry.  Using Dr. Ph Martin's Hydrus Ink and water create runny ink drips.  Let dry.  Stamp crow (Lost Coast Designs) on a vintage music sheet with archival ink.  Tear out.  On a vintage sticker apply rub on letters and apply on the tag.

On a shipping tag, apply torn pieces of masking tape to create texture.  Paint with buttercream paint in two colors.  Let dry.  Stamp images(Recollections) in Archival Ink Jet Black on white tissue paper.  Adhere to tag and let dry.  Adhere the intelligent sticker.

On a shipping tag, create a design with bingo daubers, spray with water to create a bleeding effect.  Let dry.  With Archival Ink Jet Black stamp Tulips stamp (So Suzy Stamps) several times.  Embellish with letter rub-ons and fabric tape.

On  shipping tag, paint purple buttercream paint on to the sides using a baby wipe.  Stencil (buttercream) motif with buttercream gray paint.  Let dry.  Outline stencil with india ink pen.  Adhere sticker and outline with marker.

Latex caulk was spread on to decorative paper through a stencil and allowed to cure for several days. Black acrylic paint was painted over the images and then wiped off with a baby wipe creating a resist technique similar to Joseph's coat technique. The images were torn out of sheet. 

Decorative paper and deco tape was adhered to a manila tag. Resist images were adhered to tag as well as sticker. 

Some time my art experiments work and some times the fail epically. This one is an in between.   I like the crisp design which does not always happen with resist techniques but the caulk remains tacky/sticky. I won't be using latex caulk in this manner again.

A golden texture napkin was applied on a manila tag. Metallic rub in gold was used to highlight the edges of the tag. Number stickers were applied on tag. Peacock image was cut out of a decorative napkin and applied to tag.
