One Little Tag Craft Challenge #182


Adhere a baby wipe that has been used to clean up paints and dye.  Make sure it is completely dry before adhering it to tag.  Let dry.  Stamp twig image on white tissue paper and adhere to the tag.  Let dry.  Doodle over the image with Pentel Fabric Gel Pen.  Adhere sticker and color words with silver marker.

Adhere a decorative napkin to to the bottom 2/3rd of a shipping tag.  Let dry.  On text paper, stamp sentiment(Lost Coast Designs) with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Sponge golden acrylic paint on the text paper.  Let dry.  Adhere to tag and let dry.  With dimensional magic draw a bead of adhesive along the bottom of tag and top of the napkin.  Sprinkle orange colored glitter.  Let dry.

Adhere book text to a shipping tag.  Paint a thick layer of acrylic paint and then comb it with a cut up gift card.  Let dry.  Create Mixed Media Morsel Painted Circles text paper.  Let dry.  Tear and adhere to shipping tag.  Stamp flower image(Hero Arts) with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Stamp bird image(A Stamp in the Hand) on tissue paper with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Adhere to tag and let dry.

One Little Craft Tag Challenge #177




Bacon Fest is a fund raiser for Aim at Melanoma.  The fundraiser is in memory of my aunt.  The tag is a journal tag for the day of Bacon Fest this year.  Here is the website for bacon fest  http://baconfestnw.com/

On a shipping tag, create background using the acrylic paint ghosting technique by painting the tag with black paint and then using a Tim Holtz stencil wipe away the paint.  Let dry.  Color the edges with red Viva Decor 3D Stamp Paint.  Apply strips of bacon washi tape across the tag.  Stamp sentiment on Tim Holtz labels and adhere to tag.

Paint gesso on a shipping tag and let dry.  Rip decorated paper into squares and adhere to tag in a checker pattern.  The deco paper was created with the Painting over Scrapbook Page Technique.  Stamp the man image(Lost Coast Designs) several times on white tissue paper and cut out.  Adhere to the tag and let dry.  Doodle in between the squares using a Dylusions Paint pen.

On a shipping tag apply strips of washi tag without trying to line them up.  Stamp heart images on tissue paper with Archival Ink Jet Black and adhere to tag.  

This tag was a reaction to the massacre in Florida in a gay bar.  A simple journal tag because the grief was too deep.

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #161



Paint a shipping tag with white gesso and let dry.  Adhere squares of decorative tissue paper using the Tissue Mosaic Technique.  Let dry and then outline squares with black permanent marker.  Using Dylusions Masks, paint the tag with black acrylic paint.  Let dry.

On an index card create a starburst crumpled technique using Recollections Spray Inks.  (This technique was created by Kate Palmer Sparkle Tart.  Here is a video describing the technique  https://youtu.be/_zNdG6L1L9o) On another index card apply a used baby wipe and then apply the starburst crumpled piece over the baby wipe.  Apply letter stickers and dry brush black acrylic paint over the letters.

On a shipping tag, color several colors of watercolor crayons and activate with water.  Let dry.  Stencil sun image(Dina Wakley) using molding paste.  Let dry for at least 24 hours.  With a permanent marker doodle around the image.

ICAD #7


On an index card color two colors of watercolor crayons and activate with water.  Color a script stamp (Stampington) with watercolor crayons and mist with water then stamp the image.  Using a Dina Wakley Stencil of a woman, outline with water solible graphite pencil and then fill it in with Inktense black pencil.  Activate with water.  

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #159


On a manila tag, spread three colors of acrylic paint to create an ombre background.  Let dry.  Stamp seahorses(Sweet Pea Stamps) with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Highlight the eyes of the sea horse with white acrylic paint.  With a post-it note, mask of the top two thirds of the tag, and then with white acrylic paint stencil(Stencil Girl Products) the bubbles onto the dark blue portion of the tag.  Let dry.  On the top of the tag, outline the bubble stencil with a fine tip sharpie marker.  With the stencil off set slightly, outline the white acrylic bubbles to create a sense of depth.

With a finger tool, spread three colors of Dylusion Paints (Bubble Gum, Fresh Lime, and Crushed Grape) on an index card.  Let dry between colors to create layers.  Stamp diamond with white acrylic paint.  Let dry.  With black acrylic paint, stencil the bird(Stencil Girl Products) on to the card.  Stamp the word with an alphabet stamps(Stampendous) with Archival Ink Jet Black.
