One Little Tag Challenge #3

Started with a Kraft tag. I stamped the dogwood flower and sentiment (both from unity stamp company) in archival ink in sepia. Sepia ink was also brushed around the edge of the tag.  The image was outlined with an inktense pencil in white. The tag was embellished with household string and tissue tape by Tim Holtz.

One Little Tag Challenge Tag #2

The second tag is on a black tag. I stamped the background using a hero arts Christmas ornament with versamark and rubbed pan pastels in several metallic colors. I used the recollections alphabet stamps for the sentiment and stamped with versamark and pan pastels. The tag was embellished with recollections glitter tape, embroidery floss and a clear button.

One Little Tag Craft Challenge.

This is the first tag of the year. This tag is a manila tag with a stencil of a rose (I believe it's a Heidi Swapp stencil but I'm not sure) and colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens (ridiculously long name).   I blended them with an aqua brush. I added a button and some bakers twine. The word was stamped with jet black archival ink and letter stamps from reflections.

Art Resolutions for 2016

Each year I make at lest one art themed resolution, this year's is to participate in one little tag craft challenge.  This challenge is the brain child of craft test dummies owner Jenny. The rules are very simple, to create on a tag. There is the suggestion of create something every day. For me I interpret this to mean by December 31, 3016 I will have completed 366 tags since this is a leap year.

One of last years art resolutions was to blog at least once a week. I did not succeed with that. So I carried it on to this coming year. I will post each tag and a short description of how I created it and what supplies I used.

I would like to improve my blog making skills so I will try some experimenting as well.
