One Little Craft Tag Challenge #153, Tag Tuesday and Your Next Stamp Challenge

Paint a mixed media tag with orange acrylic paint and let dry.  Tear out a strip of green decorative paper and adhere to the tag.  Stamp the bird and flower images (Recollections) with Archival Ink Jet Black on a circle piece of cardstock.  Color with inktense pencils and activate with water.  Let dry.  Adhere die cut circle of decorative paper and then adhere the bird circle to the tag.

One Little Craft Tag Challenge #81

On a manila tag, repeatedly stamp circle design using Archival Ink Jet Black.  This stamp is from the company This Way Stamps that is no longer in business.  Color the image with Inktense pencils and blend with a waterbrush.  Let dry.  Adhere stickers.

One Little Craft Tag Challenge #78

On a water color tag, spray two colors of Dylusions strays and then with a stencil (Dylusions Aarows) and a baby wipe create a ghost image.  Let dry.  Stamp flower images (Dylusions Stamps) in Archival Ink Jet Black.  Color with images with a white Inktense Pencils and blend with a water brush.  Let dry.  Adhere stickers and sequins.

On a watercolor tag, create a background using the Watercolor Pigment Dry/Wet Technique and Kool Aid powder.  Let dry.  Using a Rollagraph stamp to create depth in on the tag.  Stamp Billie Holiday image (Post Script Studio), word and bird image on vintage text page with Archival ink.  Highlight the images with Inktense white pencil.  Blend with water.  

One Little Craft Tag Challenge #15

On a manila tag create a background using the Watercolor Pigment Wet/Wet Technique and Kool Aid powder.  Let dry.  Stamp circle stamps on tag with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Stamp figure on watercolor paper with Archival Ink Jet Black and color with Inktense pencils.  Adhere to tag and embellish tags with rhinestone.  All stamps are from Unity Stamp Company.

Spray shipping tag with Dylusions spray in Lemon Zest and let dry.  Using Compass Stencil (Dina Wakley) spray Tangerine Dream Dylusions spray.  Let dry.  Stamp all images (Dylusions) with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Color bird with inktense pencils and activate with water.  

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #220

Adhere vintage book text to a tag.  Apply strips of paper to tag.  Stamp images(Dylusions) on white tissue paper with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Cut out and adhere to tag.  Once dry, color image with inktense pencils.

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #190

On a shipping tag, create a background using a stencil(Tim Holtz), watercolor and a baby wipe.  Let dry.  Stamp all images with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Sentiment is from Graphic 45.  Color dog(Tim Holtz) with inktense pencils and activate with water. Color ground beneath dog to ground image.  Let dry.

ICAD #7

On an index card color two colors of watercolor crayons and activate with water.  Color a script stamp (Stampington) with watercolor crayons and mist with water then stamp the image.  Using a Dina Wakley Stencil of a woman, outline with water solible graphite pencil and then fill it in with Inktense black pencil.  Activate with water.  

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #49

A manila tag was punched with a Crop a dile creating a series of punches in two sizes. Then it was stamped with a stamp from hero arts circle shadow stamp and memento ink in angel pink, pear tart, and lady bug. Each circle was outlined with an inktense pencil. The word "poppies" was stamped with alphabet stamps (unknown brand) with archival ink in jet black.

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #48

A manila tag was punched using a crop a dile and then a variety of colored eyelets were set in place with Crop a dile. Using a soda bottle cap circles are traced using inktense pencils in a variety colors. The word "effervescence" was applied using Martha Stewart Crafts rub ons.

One Little Tag Challenge #3

Started with a Kraft tag. I stamped the dogwood flower and sentiment (both from unity stamp company) in archival ink in sepia. Sepia ink was also brushed around the edge of the tag.  The image was outlined with an inktense pencil in white. The tag was embellished with household string and tissue tape by Tim Holtz. 

Ombré Gelatos

Faber Castell Gelatos and their student grade gel sticks (which seem very similar though gelatos have a wider selection of colors( are great for the ombré technique.  They are cream and water soluble so blending them is a breeze. 

I share the directions for the technique in another post but wanted to show you the variety this technique has. 

This is an ATC I created for Runaway Studio Marxh swap. The theme was monocratmatic. I colored the background using the gelatos in an ombré effect. I then stamped the seahorse (deep red stamp) and then masked him and stamped him with a stamp from Tin Can Mail. Dabbed viva metal effects paint in silver to give it some sea water shine and then stamped Tim Holtz saying along the side. Below is the same ATC turned in a greeting cards. I never throw away ATCS they make great cards. 

The last three cards are greeting cards I made with gelatos/ombré technique as the background stamped the images with archival ink framed the images with antique dictionary pages and washi tape. 

Stamps in the orange/yellow ombré card are dollar ones from Joann's 

Leaf stamp is Judikins and flower is Studio G. 

This card below I used Inktense pencils to cover over the gelatos. Clown stamp is Stampington and the swirls are inkadinkado.
