One Little Craft Tag Challenge #117

On a bristol paper tag, spray Recollections Spray through a swiss dot stencil.  Let dry.  Create a wash over the card using Watercolor Smooshing Technique and Dr. Ph Martins Hydrus Inks.  Let dry.  On mixed media paper, blend Distress oxide ink, sprinkle water and then dry with a heat gun.  Over stamp the big circles and script (Dina Wakley) with Distress Oxide inks and heat set.  Stamp bird (Dina Wakley) with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Cut out, layer with vintage dictionary text and adhere to tag.  Emphasis with Stabilo All Pencil and staple sequins to the tag.

One Little Craft Tag Challenge #109 and Viva Las Vegas Stamp Monthly Challenge

On a watercolor tag stamp the checked "hill" (Dylusions) and sheep (Viva Las Vegas Stamps) with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Create background with straw splat background technique  and let dry.  Outline the images and the edge of the tag with Stabilo All Pencil and activate with water. Apply vinyl letter stickers to tag.

One Little Craft Tag Challenge #95

On a manila tag, stamp the floral image (Wendy Vecchi Stamp and Stencil) several times in Archival Ink Tree Branch.  Using the included stencil and a color duster, apply Archival Ink in Violet, Sap Green and Magenta Hue as well a Memento Ink Tangelo.  Apply stickers and outline with Stabilo All Pencil and blend with water.  Sentiment is from an unknown company and the circle stickers are from Tim Holtz.  

One Little Craft Tag Challenge, #52

On a watercolor paper tag, create waves of color with Jane Davenport Mermaid Markers.  Blend out with a waterbrush.  Let dry.  Cut bird out of decorative wrapping paper.  Cut branches and leaves out of scrapbook paper.  Adhere the bird, branches and leaves onto tag.  Out line with Stabilo All Pencil and blend.

Paint a chipboard with gesso and let dry.  Spread Recollections Embossing Paste through a Heidi Swapp Stencil and let dry for at least 24 hours.  Dry brush pink acrylic paint and let dry.  Highlight texture with a Stabilo All Pencil.  Apply Tim Holtz Stickers.

On a watercolor tag, create a background with Stencil Outline Wash Technique with Distress Markers.  Activate with water and let dry.  Stamp image (Dina Wakley) with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Doodle with Stabilo All Pencil.  

One Little Craft Tag Challenge #25

On a vintage dictionary page create a background with Distress Paint and Acrylic Paint Smooshing Technique.  Let dry and then adhere to a chipboard tag.  Stamp the sentiment with letter stamps and Archival Ink Jet Black.  On watercolor paper, create colorful paper with Ken Oliver Color Bursts and let dry.  Die cut stars for the color bursts paper and adhere to the tag.  Emphasis with Stabilo All Pencil. 

ICAD #4

On an index card create a background by pouncing distress paint daubers, drying between colors to create layers.  Colors used were Seedless Preserves, Mustard Seed, and Peeled Paint.  When dry, dry brush white acrylic paint over the card.  Let dry.  Create a border from a magazine picture and sharpie marker, adhere to edge of index card.  Stamp sentiment on an old book page with Archival Ink Jet Black. Cut out and adhere to index card.  Outline with Stabilo All Pencil and blend with water.  

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #155

Paint Golden Fluid Acrylic Paynes Gray on a manila tag and before paint is dry rub some of the paint to create a mottled look.  Let dry.  With a tooth brush, first splatter silver watercolor and then splatter gesso.  Let dry.  Stamp image of mermaid and the moon(Sweet Pea Stamps*) with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Outline images with Stabilo All Pencil and activate with water.  Stamp moon face(RubberMoon)  several times with the same ink.  

Paint splatting technique is created using an old tooth brush and some sort of liquid colorant.  In this tag, silver watercolor paint and gesso was watered down.  Dip the tooth brush into the wet paint.  Aim the paint brush at the tag and run a finger along the bristles creating small splatters.

ICAD 2016 Day 2

The theme for today was pyramids.   I adhered a piece of map from Egypt (The atlas that I used was from 1943) to an index card.  I painted over the map with gesso expect the part with Egypt on it to emphasis Egypt.  I stamped camel image(Manufacturer unknown) with Archival Ink Jet Black  I cut pyramids from a textured place mat and run Distress Ink Vintage Photo along the edge. I adhered the pyramids to the index card.  Using a Stabilo All Pencil, I outlined the pyramids and the base of the camel.  Write the quote on the top with a Prima Graphic Pen.  

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #69

Using Archival Ink Jet Black, images (Autumn Leaves) were stamped on a manila tag and then colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Sticker was applied and outline with a Stabilo All "magic pencil" according to Dina Wakley.
