One Little Craft Tag Challenge #156

On a bristol tag, paint two colors of acrylic paint and let it dry.  Stencil stars (Dylusions) with orange acrylic paint and let dry.  With Archival Ink Jet Black, stamp the sentiment (Tim Holtz) and several monkeys (Inkadinkado).  Poke holes in the tag with push pins and then stitch cross stitches in orange embroidery floss.

ICAD #5 and 2 Crafty Critter Crazies Challenge

On an index card, scribble yellow and orange watercolor crayon and activate.  Let dry.  Using Archival Ink Jet Black stamp the bird image (Inkadinkado) and the sentiment (Tim Holtz) on the card.  Using the Watercolor Stamping Technique, color red watercolor on script stamp (Stampington) and activate with water and then stamp.  Let dry.


This ICAD was the fifth in the Daisy Yellow ICAD Challenge.

One Little Craft Tag Challenge #151 and 7 Kids Challenge

On a bristol tag, blend two colors (Spiced Marmalade and Fired Brick) of Distress Oxide.  Flick water on the tag and mop up with a paper towel to create splotches on the tag.   Dry with a heat gun.  Stamp the text (Hampton Arts) in Pistachio Distress Oxide and dry with a heat gun.  Stamp harlequin (Inkadinkado) with Broken China Distress Oxide and dry with a heat gun.  Repeat the flicking of water to create more water splotches.  Stamp the word (Hero Arts) and the couple (Stampotique) in Archival Ink Jet Black.  Color text weight paper with Barn Door Distress Stain and dry.  Punch out hearts.  Adhere hearts to the tag and emphasis with Dimensional Magic.  Let dry.

This tag was the second creation of the One Little Craft Tag Challenge - Orange.  This tag was entered into the Challenge at 7 Kids.  The theme was anything goes but you must use some supplies from the 7 Kids Store.  Items from the store that are included on this tag are Distress Oxides and Archival Ink 

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #278

On a shipping tag, lay masking tape to create texture and then apply acrylic paint using Paint Smooshing Technique.  Let dry.  I used pink, orange and white acrylic paint.  Stamp images and sentiment(Inkadinkado) on white tissue paper with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Adhere to tag.  Embellish with washi tape.  

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #219

Adhere a piece of a paper doily to a shipping tag.  Paint with a light acrylic paint and let dry.  Dry brush a darker color of acrylic paint over the doily to emphasis the texture.  Let dry.  Stamp image and sentiment(Inkadinkado) with Archival Ink Jet Black on white tissue paper. Adhere to tag.  Accent tag with fabric deco tape.

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #154

This week's challenge for One Little Tag Craft Challenge is C or Sea.  I have accepted the additional challenge of creating without words as a focal image.  I struggle with not including words.  When the challenge was first presented to me I was very resistant.  Since resistance is a defense mechanism, I was curious what caused this reaction in me.  I think it has to do with the fear that without words people will not understand my message.  So I have accepted the challenge.  This is my first tag in that challenge.  

Cover a manila tag with metallic blue children's paint, before it dries splatter with clear water and then absorb the water with a paper towel.  This removes the paint and creates spots.  Let dry.  With an old toothbrush splatter with silver watercolor paint.  Let dry.  Stamp seashell (Judikins) and the scroll(Inkadinkado) with Archival Ink Jet Black.

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #146

On a manila tag, paint a thin layer of metallic kids paint (Prang).  Let dry.  Using the Stencil Color on Color technique create the star background.  Prang paint was used as well as Tim Holtz Stars Stencil.  Let dry.  Stamp all images with Archival Ink Jet Black.  The stamps are from inkadinkado.  

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #145

On a manila tag, stamp main focal images(Stampington) with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.  Mask.  Stamp Feather(Inkadinkado) in the same ink and mask. Stamp fleur-de-lis (unknown) in same ink and mask.  Stamp text (Rubber Soul)  in the same ink.  Using distress markers highlight areas.  With a waterbrush, activate the ink to create some blending.  Let dry.  Stamp sentiment with Archival Ink Jet Black.

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #115

 Using an old book create string painting.  One way to do it is this way from One Minute Muse.  I used three colors of acrylic paint and three pieces of string.   Let dry.  Tear out of book and adhere to a manila tag.  Stamp flower images (Inkadinkado) with Archival Ink Jet Black on the text paper.  Stamp Text image (Lost Coast Designs) on handmade paper with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Tear out image and adhere to tag.  

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #101

     

Adhere tissue paper to a manila tag, make sure to create lots of texture.  Dry brush acrylic paint in three colors onto tissue paper.  Using two different juice lids and black acrylic paint, stamp circles on tag.  Let dry.  Stamp Peacock image (Inkadinkado) on a blank book page with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Adhere to tag.  Adhere sticker to tag. 

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #82

The Challenge for One Little Tag group for the week is monochromatic. This week I might be creating a lot of purple pieces of art. 

On a manila tag, the images of the female (Technique Junkies/Stamp Camp) and the word (Ma Vinci) we stamped with Archival Ink Jet Black. The flower swirl from Inkadinkado and floral flourish from Stampington in Distress Ink in Wilted Violet. Then Wilted Violet ink was blended into tag using a blending tool. The face was purposely left uncolored. The tag is edged with the purple Distress Ink.

Another journal inspired tag.

Metallic water soluble gel crayons were applied to a manila tag and activated with water. The image (Inkadinkado) was stamped on  tissue paper with Archival Ink Jet Black. The tissue paper was then adhered to the tag.  The silhouettes are washi tape from Recollections.  

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #59

Inktense blocks were rubbed on a manila tag and then activated with water. White acrylic paint was stenciled through a Tim Holtz stencil. Bird (Inkadinkado), Quote (Invoke) and daisy border (Stampington) were stamped on rage with archival ink jet black.

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #32

Several colors of acrylic paint was painted on a tag. The paint was left over from other projects and instead of being discarded was painted on to random tags to be used later. The flower swirls and birds both by Inkadinkado are stamped on Archival Ink Jet Black as well as the sentiment (Momenta). Window was created with scrapbook paper. The cut out pieces were curled with a pencil to create a stronger focal image. 

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #26

Images were stamped on to pink scrapbook paper with Archival Ink Jet Black.  The flower image from Inkadinkado was then cut out.  "Peace" from River City Rubberworks was torn to fit tag.  Torn scrapbook paper and images were adhered to a manila tag.  1-26-2016

One Little Tag Craft Challenge #10

Book pages were adhered to a manila tag. The feather stamp (Inkadinkado) was stamped 3 times using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. Water was misted on stamp before they were stamped. Then the image was over stamped with Archival Ink jet black. Blue fingernail polish was applied in a bead across the top of the tag and then sprayed with water to create the drips. Nail polish was also splattered over card.
