ICAD #30

On a piece of grocery bag stamp the background using the collage stamping technique.  The fleur dis Lys (Limited Addition) was stamp with Distress Oxide Faded Jeans.  The script stamp (Stampington) was stamped in Distress Oxide Broken China and the harlequin (Inkadinkado) was stamped in Distress Oxide Peeled Paint.  After stamping the ink was set with heat.  Stamp the focal image (B Line) with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Spray the paper with water and crinkle up.  Flatten and repeat until texture is developed.  Adhere to an index card.  Tear vintage French text in to strip and glue to the card to create a boarder.

Very cool! Love all the fabulous layering! And who would have guessed it started with a grocery bag!? Those distress oxide inks really do stamp perfectly. Thanks for playing with the House That Stamps Built.

An amazing project that started as a basic grocery bag. It fits perfectly The Crafty Purple Frog Challenge this month of “make it manly”. Thank you for entering and best wishes in the draw. Kym (The Crafty Purple Frog Challenge Blog Design Team Member).
